Dead Pixel Tester – A utility for testing LCD-monitors for the presence of «bad pixels». Released new version of the utility called Dead Pixel Tester. Is designed to test LCD monitors for the presence of “broken pixels” created specifically to test these cases. Allows you to highlight any areas of the screen by any of the selected color to identify correctly functioning cells. Simply select the color and check it from displaying the entire surface area of the monitor. In case of discrepancy there is a special window (with the five primary colors) for a more detailed study.

In most cases, eliminate such broken pixels or cells is not possible (if it is of course not an external dirt). Usually the manufacturer provides a guarantee for a certain number of failed pixels, after the appearance of which changes the display on the same (within the authorized warranty period).

In this issue, reworked user interface, added the function of a marker for quick check of selected areas of the screen, and also included a banner for the development of financial compensation. Distributed free of charge for personal and noncommercial use.
